Citizens of Heaven

By Pastor Steven Simpson

In the Sermon, Pastor Steve opens with how Paul talks about Citizenship as a Roman Vs Citizenship in Heaven outlined with Philippians. Continuing through the sermon, we have a motif Peter emphasizes that we are suffering from being counterculture to the world and that we need to be wary of willful disobedience and submit to God and respect rightful human authority. We need to continue to remember that we have been purchased by the blood of Christ. Pastor Steve continues to talk about how we are to Honor everyone as Genesis says we are all created in God's image, and that there is a special bond between brother and sisters (Brotherhood). We shall willfully fall in line with God's Established order - we submit because Christ submitted and live out our faith peacefully knowing who we are in Christ Jesus.
