His Hesed Holds the Promise

BL

Brody Lehman

Speaker

What if the greatest promise ever made can't be undone by anyone, including you? You can't earn it, and you can't lose it. Join us as we discover why God's word to Abraham still anchors our hope today.

In Galatians 3:15-18, Paul uses an everyday illustration: once a covenant is ratified, no one can cancel it or add conditions to it. If that’s true among people, how much more true is it of God’s promise to Abraham? This message explores how the promise was given to Abraham and to his offspring, Christ, and why the law, arriving 430 years later, could never replace or rewrite what God had already sealed. Our inheritance rests on God’s grace and His faithfulness, not on our performance.

Citizens of Heaven

By Pastor Steven Simpson

In the Sermon, Pastor Steve opens with how Paul talks about Citizenship as a Roman Vs Citizenship in Heaven outlined with Philippians. Continuing through the sermon, we have a motif Peter emphasizes that we are suffering from being counterculture to the world and that we need to be wary of willful disobedience and submit to God and respect rightful human authority. We need to continue to remember that we have been purchased by the blood of Christ. Pastor Steve continues to talk about how we are to Honor everyone as Genesis says we are all created in God's image, and that there is a special bond between brother and sisters (Brotherhood). We shall willfully fall in line with God's Established order - we submit because Christ submitted and live out our faith peacefully knowing who we are in Christ Jesus.
